scale model of a medieval siege engine is crafted entirely from solid Northern
Red Oak hardwood. Stands over 32 inches tall in the fired position. Our
most powerful trebuchet, the Stirling will throw a projectile up to 80
feet.
Designed and built with an open counterweight
cabinet, the Stirling trebuchet allows you to vary the weight for range
and trajectory adjustment. Fire with an empty counterweight for indoor
use, or add weight (nuts, bolts, scrap lead, iron or steel, sand, or small
rocks – not included) for increased range. Includes 6 projectiles and complete,
illustrated instructions.
